Twickenham Pool Site - caretaker's house, now HANDS, 30/11/04
The former caretaker's house, now used by community charity HANDS

Twickenham pool site: the old caretaker's house has been used by the charity, HANDS (Help a Neighbour in
Distress), since 1987. Through a network of 130 volunteers HANDS provides valuable support to 250 clients in
Twickenham and St Margaret's, mostly the elderly, disabled, and ill, and families under stress.

Though the house is not part of the pool site that is currently being redeveloped, there is great concern that
HANDS should be provided with proper accommodation when the whole of the site is developed.
