PLANNING INQUIRY INTO THE DAWNAY DAY SCHEME 01/2548/FUL LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 The Occupier NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT AN INSPECTOR INSTRUCTED BY THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT, TRANSPORT AND THE REGIONS WILL ATTEND AT THE MUNICIPAL OFFICES, YORK HOUSE, RICHMOND ROAD, TWICKENHAM TO HOLD A PUBLIC INQUIRY INTO THE APPLICATION BY DDSF LTD Which has been called in by the Secretary of State under Section 77 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, an application for planning permission for DEMOLITION OF EXISTING BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW MIXED USE DEVELOPMENT INCLUDING HOUSING, A1/A3 USES, THREE SCREEN CINEMA, HEALTH CLUB AND SWIMMING POOL, NEW PUBLIC SPACE AND ENVIRONMENTAL IMPROVEMENTS TO THE EMBANKMENT, WHARF LANE AND WATER LANE. DEMOLITION OT THE GROUND FLOOR OF NO. 15 KING STREET TO CREATE A NEW PEDESTRIAN LINK THROUGH TO THE RIVER. At FORMER SWIMMING BATHS, CAR PARK, 15 KING STREET AND, WHARF LANE, THE EMBANKMENT, TWICKENHAM The application and accompanying plans can be inspected at the offices of Environmental Protection, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham, during normal office hours. The Secretary of State has asked the Council to give notice of the Inquiry to those owners and occupiers of property near to the site who are considered by the Council to be affected by the proposed development, in order that they may, if they wish and at the Inspector's discretion, either state their case in person or through and (sic) accredited representative. Details of the Inquiry, including dates, times and confirmation of venue will be sent to you in due course and in any event no later than four weeks prior to the commencement of the Inquiry. If it is your intention to appear at the Inquiry, or to request that
another person appear on your behalf, and you intend that a written
statement should be read by you or on your behalf, then you must send
your statement to: If you cannot or do not wish to attend the Inquiry, you may forward
your views in writing to: If you made representations at the application stage they will already have been sent to the Department of Environment, Transport and the Regions. Any further comments should only be made to amplify or alter those made at the time of the application. The contents of all letters sent to the Department of Environment, Transport and the Regions will be made known to both this Council and the appellants. Should you wish to receive from the Department of Environment, Transport and the Regions a copy of the decision letter you should indicate this in your representations.
